• Quiz Bowl is a competitive academic trivia game with a focus on current events, topical issues, and history. We build a team and compete against other Middle Schools throughout the school year, ending in a tournament in April.

Student Government Association

• The Student Government Association is a student-led service organization. The SGA provides a chance for members to develop leadership skills as they coordinate service projects for the school and community, and organize social activities to promote school spirit and pride. The SGA also provides an opportunity for students to exchange ideas among the faculty and student body. Meetings are open to any interested member of the CMS student body.

United Voices Club

This club is designed to support and advocate for LGBTQ+ youth and friends/allies. This is a student-run club that provides a safe place for ALL students to meet, support each other, and talk about issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity and expression. Students will be able to voice their thoughts and feelings on LGBTQ related matters and collaborate on ways to spread tolerance throughout Cockeysville MS.
